Age 2
Megan Langille was a very rambunctious young girl and also extremely stubborn. She was hard on Tracey and Daniel Langille who were very patient parents, they had to be. If Megan didn't get what she wanted then Tracey and Dan got a screaming kid. Megan's fits were terrible. Once Dan's brother came over to sit and have a beer with Dan and sit and talk at the kitchen table. Megan couldn't come into the kitchen because that is where the dogs were kept and they might knock her over. As soon as she heard uncle Rick come in the door she started right for the kitchen but was blocked off by a baby gate. She screamed for her Daddy to open it but he wasn't going to budge. She screamed and Screeched and thumped and kicked but couldn't get through that baby gate. She screamed so hard that Rick thought she was going to die so dan went and picked her up and brought her into the kitchen... little did he know that every time he gave in it just gave her more of reason to throw a fit the next time they said no to her. And that is how Dan spoiled his daughter.
Ok so I don't want to write about when I was little anymore...
Grade 11
So I am part of the Project Based Learning class at my school and we just finished a project where students from the Netherlands came to our school and we all spent the night in the STU residence. It was an awesome experience, I had so much fun. I am extremely sad that it is all over now and i will never get a chance to experience anything like that ever again. I didn't learn that much though. What we did was, went geocaching, bus ride, Kingswood, Legislator and we went to the Corbit marsh. I absolutely loved the Dutch students. I miss them, although they did get quite annoying after a while and the girls there wore their pants like the guys here do, like down around their ass. Ha ha it was funny. Over in the Netherlands it is legal to be a prostitute and dope is legal too. They can buy alcohol when they are 16 and smokes when they are 14...CRAZY!! LOL. None of them did anything like that though it was strange. When they came here they were amazed at how much space that we have here in New Brunswick.
Grade 5 The Brick Wall
At the start it was so far away but with every step it got closer and closer. I was running as fast as I could but I was still behind. I couldn't believe it that Karen of all people was beating me. I leaped over the obstacle and landed, it was now time for me to stop.
Childhood Memory
I was in riding lessons when I saw the pony of my dreams. She didn't have a long flowing mane or big muscular legs and she was blind in one eye, but she was the most beautiful that I had ever seen. i rode her for a couple of weeks and we fell in love. She would follow me around the ring and then I would feed her all the treats I had, forgetting to share with the other horses. The other horses didn't matter to me though as long as she was around.
My pony was a misfit, the other horses didn't play with her and my riding teacher hated her. She didn't even have a name, all they called her was 'the blind one'. I was the only kid there that ever wanted to ride her. My teacher Lori never wanted me to ride her because when your are tacking up or leading a horse you are supposed to do everything from the left side, but not with this special pony. Se was blind in her left eye so if you did everything from the left she wouldn't be able to see you which meant that she was the opposite than all the other horses. That made her and I a lot alike because in my family I was the one that always had to be different and that just made me love her even more.
I lived only about two minutes down the road from the barn. My house was a big white house right beside Dykemans store. I had a big barn in the back yard with a little bit of a field. My house was a perfect retreat for a poor, lonely, little pony so I asked my Daddy if I could have her, but he said that he didn't think that an eight year old like me was responsible enough to be able to take care of a pony, then he said no. It was the most heartbreaking no that I had ever heard in my whole life and trust me there were a lot of no's.
